Dr. Rajat Goswamy has been performing IVF techniques since 1982.

He is the pioneer of vaginal ultrasound in the UK and also performed the first ultrasound directed egg collection procedures, initially using abdominal ultrasound and later using vaginal ultrasound techniques. He is known for his thoroughness in the investigation of causes of infertility.
He initially set up IVF Centres at King's College Hospital, London and the Hallam Medical Centre. He then worked as Deputy Medical Director under Patrick Steptoe in Cambridge from 1985 to 1988.
He is a frequent speaker at international meetings on topics relating to infertility, IVF, ultrasound and minimally invasive surgery, using laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. He has trained many specialists worldwide, and published extensively in the last 18 years.
From 1989 to the beginning of 1999 he was Medical Director of the Churchill Clinic in London which became one of the most successful centres for treatment and training in IVF and ultrasound techniques.
